Syd Mead began his career in industrial design in the early ’60s at Ford’s Advanced Styling Studio. He went on to found Syd Mead, Inc. through which he designed, illustrated and provided architectural renderings for numerous corporations and Hollywood film studios. Among his movie credits are Aliens, Blade Runner and TRON. Roger Servick ’71 attended Wayne State for industrial design. He interviewed at Syd Mead’s studio and a lifelong partnership was launched. Servick manages all business affairs for Syd Mead Inc.
